‘The shock was not even how near he was to me – it was that he was likely putting himself at danger.

A spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) explained the organisation will be investigating the report of the reduced-flying plane.

Andrew McConnell explained: ‘The security of the public and the flying community is our variety a single precedence.

‘We will be investigating these experiences and it would be inappropriate for us to comment any even more right before this investigation has been completed.’

The CAA website states: ‘In typical, except when needed for choose-off or landing, an aircraft must be 1,000 ft more than a built-up place.

‘Otherwise, [it should be] 500ft from persons, automobiles, vessels and buildings.’
